BOCUSE D'OR TEAM SWEDEN PARTNER

The Bocuse d'Or is the world's most prestigious international competition for chefs, held every two years in Lyon, France. The competition was founded in 1987 by renowned chef Paul Bocuse.

A total of 60 countries will take part, which, via qualifying competitions on each continent, will make 24 countries competing in the Bocuse d'Or World Cup final.

Sweden has participated successfully since the beginning of the competition in 1987. Over the years Bocuse d'Or has evolved and the competition has intensified significantly, which also means that higher demands are placed on both the competing chefs and the nations' organizations.

Five generations is just the beginning. Haglund Industri intends to continue to supply leading refrigeration equipment for restaurants, bakeries, bars, cafés and catering for many more generations. But conditions are changing and we are facing new challenges. The most topical question is the environment and the climate: how can we cool with professional power and reduce energy consumption towards environmental goals? Our fridges are energy efficient today. They are equipped with low-energy fans, LED lighting and extra thick insulation to name a few inserts. But that's just the beginning – the process of using energy more efficiently is constantly evolving and evolving day by day.

For five generations, the Haglund family has had its own production in the factory in Gällstad. From the early sheet metal workshop to today's high-quality fridges, the basic recipe has been the same: listen to customers, be careful with the details and never stop developing technology and function.
